Lifting Up Small Businesses in Woodbridge Grant 2026: $5,000 Grants for Local Small Businesses
If ou own a small business in Woodbridge, New Jersey, the Lifting Up Small Businesses in Woodbridge Grant offers an opportunity to secure funding to help grow your business. Through a partnership between Optimum Business and the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce, the program will award 25 grants of $5,000 each to local businesses committed to expanding their operations and strengthening the local economy.

Who Is Behind the Grant?
The Lifting Up Small Businesses in Woodbridge Grant is sponsored by Optimum Business in partnership with the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce. The initiative was created to invest in local entrepreneurs and provide financial support that helps small businesses grow while contributing to the economic vitality of the Woodbridge community.
Grant Amount
Each selected business will receive $5,000.
A total of 25 businesses will be awarded grants, representing $125,000 in funding for the Woodbridge small business community.
What Can the Grant Be Used For?
Grant funds must be used for business expansion and growth-related activities, such as investments that help the business scale or improve operations.
Funds cannot be used to pay existing or past debts.
Who Is Eligible?
To qualify, applicants must:
Operate a brick-and-mortar business in one of the eligible Woodbridge ZIP codes.
Have 10 or fewer full-time employees.
Be in good standing with all federal, state, and local laws and tax requirements.
Be organized as a Business Corporation, Not-for-Profit Corporation, Limited Liability Company (LLC), General Partnership, Limited Partnership, or Sole Proprietorship.
Designate a primary contact who is at least 18 years old and owns at least 51% of the business (or is the largest equity owner) and is authorized to submit the application.
Consent to a background check.
Previous recipients of the Lifting Up Small Businesses Grant are not eligible to apply again.
Additional Benefits
Businesses that are not already members of the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce will receive a complimentary six-month Chamber membership after submitting an application.
Membership in the Chamber and being an Optimum Business customer are not factors in the grant selection process.
Application Deadline
Applications opened on June 23, 2026, and must be submitted by July 31, 2026. Successful applicants are expected to be notified in September 2026.
